A docu-music video celebrating beloved Philly artist Chill Moody’s career release of his vault track “Horns at the Funeral” on his latest EP We Still Got Time (2023).


Visually chronicling Chill’s life leading up to it’s debut performance, he performs with the Philadelphia Orchestra as The Mann Center’s inaugural artist in residency.

Inspired by Todd Haynes’ Carol, Erin wanted to direct a cinematic sex scene.


But what if only one person wanted to have sex?


In Alex, Stop, we experience the perspective of unwanted sexual encounters from its survivors, written in the Me-Too boom of 2019.

Set in gentrifying Brooklyn, Erin Ryan teams up with The Slashening’s director and writer Brandon Bassham to director cinematography in this sequel-by-popular-demand TROMA-cult classic slasher-comedy film.

2018 - 2019

South Korean Shorts

Erin directed two films in her time living in South Korea.


Release 해방 (2019) is a bi-lingual experimental film calling into question the dichotomy between raising Korean-American men from a Bo


Nice Hat (2018) is a film about the parting of Expat lovers and was awarded Best Director in the KIXX 48 hour film festival.

NY artist Mysonne Linen performs his spoken-word poem live on the streets of NYC’s Black Lives Matter movement which is where Love Isn’t Enough begins.


Erin was hired to co-direct this narrative feature film by writer-producer Saquan Jones. Erin was specifically hired to lead character development and direction for the female lead (ASHLEY BLOOM).

Erin Ryan directs and produces this film focusing on the disparity in clinical trial representation told by dedicated voices in the field working to bridge this sizable gap.
